Government published draft Homes Bill.

  • replacing the current fitness standard for homes with a health and safety rating system
  • mandatory national licensing for all houses in multiple occupation
  • allowing councils the power to licence all landlords in areas of low demand

Annual General Meeting 2010

Major Government announcement

The Government has announced a review of the Private Rented Sector will take place this year. The review will be lead by The Centre for Housing Policy at The University of York. ATRO will be particpating in the review.
